Patterson Park Stars
BALTIMORE YOUTH HOCKEY COMMUNITY SERVICE
For 11 years, BYH has provided an ice hockey experience for dozens of underprivileged boys and girls from East and Southeast Baltimore. The Patterson Park Stars is a 15-week program of ice hockey instruction and team building for boys and girls, ages 7-13, in a safe, stable and fun environment. Each season, Baltimore Youth Hockey contracts the Patterson Park Ice Rink on Sundays from 10:00 am – 12:15 pm. The children are outfitted and loaned new and used hockey equipment for their use throughout the program. Each skater also receives breakfast consisting of a sandwich and juice prepared by the concession operator at the Patterson Rink. In order for this program to continue, Baltimore Youth Hockey is soliciting donations to help offset the cost of the ice rental, USA hockey registration, healthy breakfasts for the kids, new and used hockey equipment purchases, team fleece jackets for each player, holiday goodie bags and a holiday party.
Your charitable, tax deductible donation can be made out to Baltimore Youth Hockey and mailed to:

THANK YOU, HOWARD HUSKIES, FOR YOUR DONATION
If you are ever in the Patterson Park neighborhood on Sunday, please stop by and see the Patterson Stars in action. The kids love to show off their hockey skills, and the smiles that you receive from them will bring a smile to your face. The Patterson Park Stars, the volunteers and Baltimore Youth Hockey thank you very much for your kind donation! Baltimore Youth Hockey Club: This organization files an IRS Form 990. It is a 501(c)(03) public charity. Federal ID: 52-1154072

In 2009, a portion of the girls'
Pony Tail Tournament (March 13-15) goes to the support of the Patterson Park Stars. We are also indebted to foundations and generous members of the CBHL, BYH, the
Howard Huskies, the Tender Bridge and the city of Baltimore for their help in keeping our program going.
