Stars Bantams take first place in CCHL tournament

CCHL Cup Champs 2010

Bantam Rec took first place in the CCHL cup, beating NOVA, 4 to 3, in the last minute and half of a hard-fought game.

Congratulations to the Stars Bantam team and all the rec teams that played in this weekend's tournament. With goals from Brady Hartman, Isaac Sebastian, Jon McGrath, and a final goal from Jack Parriot, with 1:31 left on the clock, the Stars deafeated NOVA for the championship.  Vlad Yuditsky had a great game with 13 saves. The Bantams finished up their regular season 8 - 1 - 0 with a 4 -0 record in the tournament and 2 - 2 - 1 in non-eague play. any thanks to coaches, Mike Puopolo, Scott Doublery and Charlie Walker and to Manager Larry Lichtenauer.
